By establishing the TALEEM Research Foundation in Ahmedabad, Dr. Subhash Chandra took a bold step to improve education and job prospects, motivated by the motto "तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय" (Lead me from darkness to light). In order to create a top-tier institution in India, he assembled a group of anthropologists, sociologists, and economists. Jigyasa University was founded with the goal of advancing the vocationalization of higher education while maintaining both transnational jurisdiction and a national character.
